  • 60 g granulated sugar
  • 525 g all-purpose flour
  • 75 g softened butter

  • 200 g heavy cream
  • 90 ml milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 60 g sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 20 g cornstarch
  • Streusel:
  • 100 g flour
  • 70 g butter
  • 70 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Pinch of salt
  • Extras:
  • 200 g strawberry jam
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Start by making the vanilla cream. Heat cream, sugar, vanilla, and half the milk until simmering. In another bowl, whisk remaining milk with cornstarch and egg yolk. Slowly combine with hot cream, stirring constantly until thick. Let cool completely.
