  • For the tart crust:
  • 2 cups (250 grams) of all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons (25 grams) of sugar
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick or 125 grams) of butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • For the filling:
  • 2/3 cup (150 grams) of melted and cooled butter
  • 1 cup (200 grams) of ground almonds
  • 1 cup (200 grams) of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons (60 grams) of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 packet of baking powder


For the tart crust:
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and knead them together. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it chill in a cold place for 30 minutes.

For the filling:
Beat the melted butter and sugar until creamy. Then, add the eggs and beat again. Next, add the ground almonds and flour, and finally, the baking powder. Mix until well combined.

Roll out the tart crust and place it in a greased tart pan. Spread the almond filling evenly over the crust and sprinkle some sliced almonds on top.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.

Once completely cooled, remove the tart from the pan and serve.
