Bounty Bars with Hazelnut

Ingredients

  • Base:
  • 3.5 oz (100g) dark chocolate
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • Middle:
  • 1.7 cups (150g) desiccated coconut
  • 1/2 cup (100g) coconut milk (the solid part!), melted
  • 1.4 oz (40g) melted (vegan) white chocolate
  • 1 oz (30g) crushed roasted hazelnuts
  • 1-2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (until it’s sweet enough for you)
  • Top:
  • 1-2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup

Instructions

  1. For the base: Line a 12x18 cm pan with parchment paper and grease the edges. Melt the chocolate together with the coconut oil in a water bath or microwave. When smooth, pour into the pan and smooth out. Let cool in the fridge/freezer for 5 minutes (It doesn’t have to be completely hard).
  2. For the middle layer: Mix together all ingredients and stir to combine. Add to the pan and gently press down until it’s an even layer. Freeze for 15 minutes.
  3. For the top layer: Melt the coconut oil and stir in the cocoa powder & honey. Pour on the coconut layer. Place the pan in the fridge/freezer for an hour. Then cut into ~12 small squares. Enjoyyy 🫶🏼
