Ingredients

  • Loaf:
  • 4.2 oz applesauce/purée
  • 7 oz coconut yoghurt
  • 4.9 oz biscoff spread
  • 2.8 oz maple syrup
  • 2.1 oz @macr0mike salted caramel protein powder (use 'amb-mon' for 10% off)
  • 5.3 oz GF plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 0.7 oz cocoa powder
  • 2.6 oz maple syrup
  • Frosting:
  • 5.3 oz coconut yoghurt
  • 2.8 oz maple syrup
  • 1.6 oz @macr0mike deluxe chocolate protein powder
  • 0.7 oz cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 338°F and grease and line a loaf tin with baking paper.
  2. Whisk together the applesauce, yoghurt, biscoff, and syrup in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Fold in the protein, flour, baking powder, and bicarb until just combined.
  4. Divide half the batter into a separate bowl. Add the cocoa powder and maple syrup, mixing until combined.
  5. To create the marble effect, alternate spoonfuls of the chocolate batter and plain batter into the prepared tin until all the batter is used.
  6. Smooth out the batter evenly and bake for about 40 minutes (or until a skewer comes out mostly clean).
  7. For the frosting, whisk together the yogurt, maple syrup, protein, and cocoa powder until smooth.
  8. Once the loaf is cooled, spread the frosting on top, slice, and indulge in the goodness!
