Greenie

Ingredients

  • 150 grams butter
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 50 grams honey
  • 20 spinach leaves
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 grams flour
  • 1 packet vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 150 grams white chocolate chips
  • For Decoration:
  • 60 grams white chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter on the stove or in the microwave. Add the sugar to the warm butter and mix. Once it turns into a paste, add the honey and mix well.
  2. Place the spinach in a container suitable for a hand blender, pour the honey mixture over it, and blend until smooth.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a large bowl, add the eggs one by one, and mix with a spatula. Sift in the flour, vanilla extract, and baking powder, then fold in with the spatula. Finally, add the white chocolate chips and mix.
  4. Pour the batter into a medium-sized baking dish lined with parchment paper. Smooth the surface with a spatula and bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for 35-40 minutes. Check the baking process occasionally with a toothpick starting from the 30th minute.
  5. Let the Greenie rest until it reaches room temperature.
  6. Before serving, melt the white chocolate in a double boiler, add the vegetable oil, mix well. Drizzle the fluid white chocolate over the sliced Greenie, then sprinkle with sliced almonds. Enjoy your treat!
