  • For the Dough:
  • 330g all-purpose flour (3 cups)
  • 200g butter
  • 80g powdered sugar (4 tablespoons)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 packet vanilla
  • For the Honey Almond Sauce:
  • 50g butter (2 tablespoons)
  • 50g granulated sugar (2 tablespoons)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • For the Filling:
  • 150g cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice


    Mix all the ingredients for the dough and knead well, then let it rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
    For the honey almond sauce, melt butter, granulated sugar, and honey in a saucepan over low heat, then add the almonds and mix well.
    Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut it with a tea cup. Place the dough circles on a baking sheet. Spread the honey almond mixture over half of the dough circles (about 1 teaspoon for each).
    Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15 minutes. Let them cool completely on the baking sheet.
    For the filling, mix all the ingredients and transfer them into a piping bag.
    Pipe the filling onto the center of half of the cookies, then sandwich them with the remaining cookies.
