Pumpkin Spice Cruffins

Pumpkin Spice Cruffins with Zetti Knusperflocken. If you’re not sure what to bake this weekend, you absolutely must try these Pumpkin Spice Cruffins. 🥰 They’re crispy, full of cinnamon, and simply delicious. Making them is super easy. You just need puff pastry, some pumpkin puree, butter, a few spices, and chocolate.

For 12 Cruffins, here’s what you’ll need:

  • 1 roll of refrigerated puff pastry
  • 1.75 ounces (50g) Zetti Knusperflocken Milk Chocolate
  • 1.75 ounces (50g) melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Pumpkin Spice

Additionally:

  • 1 egg yolk + 2 teaspoons milk
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons Pumpkin Spice
  • 1 muffin tin
  • Some butter for greasing the tin

Here’s how to make them:

  1. Lightly grease the muffin tin. Preheat the oven to 392°F (200°C). Take the puff pastry from the refrigerator and let it rest for about 10 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, crush Zetti Knusperflocken and mix them with butter, sugar, the spices, and pumpkin puree.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry and spread it with the pumpkin-Knusperflocken mixture. Cut it into 12 strips widthwise, roll them up, and place them in the muffin tin.
  4. Whisk the egg yolk with milk. Brush the Cruffins with it and bake in the preheated oven for about 18 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Mix sugar, cinnamon, and Pumpkin Spice. Roll the Cruffins in the sugar mixture and enjoy them warm. Bon appétit! 😋
