Pumpkin Spice Waffles

Pumpkin Spice Waffles

Super moist pumpkin waffles – these Pumpkin Spice Waffles are seriously good. 😍 I keep saying it: pumpkin puree just makes everything moister, tastier, better. 😉

For 10 waffles, here’s what you’ll need:

  • 7 ounces (200g) pumpkin puree, homemade or store-bought
  • 3.5 ounces (100g) soft butter + some for the waffle iron
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1.76 ounces (50g) brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla paste
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 7 ounces (200g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons Pumpkin Spice
  • 6.76 ounces (200ml) buttermilk

Here’s how to make them:

  1. Beat together butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt until creamy.
  2. Stir in the vanilla paste.
  3. Gradually add the eggs and continue to beat.
  4. Fold in the pumpkin puree.
  5. Mix the flour, baking powder, and Pumpkin Spice and stir them into the pumpkin mixture along with the buttermilk.
  6. Preheat the waffle iron and lightly grease it. Grease it if necessary, but only at the beginning.
  7. Pour the waffle batter into the center of the iron and cook the waffles.
  8. Once the waffles start to lightly brown, they’re usually done. Transfer them to a wire rack to cool.
  9. Don’t let them cool for too long; they taste best when warm.
  10. Serve with your choice of powdered sugar, honey, and other toppings. Enjoy!
