They taste best when the puff pastry is still nice and crispy. 😊

Here’s how to make them:

Ingredients for 6 boats:

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 50g (about 1/2 cup) almond flakes
  • 500ml (about 2 cups) milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 packet of Bourbon vanilla pudding powder
  • 300g (about 2 cups) strawberries/blueberries/raspberries (whichever you prefer)
  1. Cut the puff pastry into 6 equal squares. Gently roll the edges and shape them slightly.
  2. Brush with egg yolk and sprinkle with almond flakes.
  3. Bake at 160°C (about 320°F) with convection for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  4. Prepare the pudding with milk and sugar according to the package instructions and let it cool.
  5. Wash and chop the berries.
  6. Spread the pudding on the pastry boats and decorate with the berries.
