A little Monday treat 😍

Slowly decorating the apartment for holiday 😊 Are you already in the spring mood or still feeling the winter blues? 😊

Here’s how you make it:

Ingredients:

Cake:

  • 1 3/4 cups (200g) butter
  • 1 cup (200g) sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups (200g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 cups (200g) ground nuts
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3.5 oz (100g) dark chocolate

Cream:

  • 1 3/4 cups (400g) heavy cream
  • 8.8 oz (250g) low-fat quark (or low-fat Greek yogurt)
  • 1/3 cup (40g) sugar

Others:

  • 6.8 fl oz (200ml) eggnog
  • 3.5 oz (100g) chocolate shavings
  1. Beat the butter with sugar and eggs until creamy.
  2. Gradually add the flour, baking powder, and ground nuts to the mixture.
  3. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler and fold it into the batter. Bake in a 10-inch form for about 30 minutes at 320°F (160°C) convection.
  4. For the cream, beat the heavy cream until stiff. Gradually add the sugar and mix in the quark.
  5. Spread the cream on the cooled base, creating a slight hollow in the center.
  6. Decorate the edge with chocolate shavings and pour eggnog into the center.
  7. Chill the cake for 1 hour.

Enjoy! 😍😊
