Mini Churro Roses

Mini Churro Roses

There are plenty of reasons to love these mini churros, but for me, it’s all about how incredibly cute they look. Making food in mini form somehow always cranks up the cuteness factor! Beyond their adorableness, these churros are incredibly delicious and a breeze to whip up.

Here’s what you need:

  • 115g (1/2 cup) butter
  • 2 tablespoons caster sugar
  • 1 cup (225ml) water
  • 3 eggs
  • 145g (1 cup) plain flour
  • Pinch of salt

Here’s how to make these delightful treats:

  1. In a saucepan, heat up 1 cup of water along with 115g (1/2 cup) of butter and 2 tablespoons of caster sugar. Add a pinch of salt and stir in 145g (1 cup) of plain flour. Keep stirring until it forms a dough that pulls away from the sides of the saucepan. Once it’s done, remove it from the heat and let it cool.
  2. Now, it’s time to stir in the eggs, one at a time, until the churro dough is smooth and nice. Next, spoon this lovely dough into a piping bag and pipe small circles onto a lined baking sheet or tray that can fit into your freezer.
  3. Pop those soon-to-be churros into the freezer and let them hang out there until they’re solid. Once they’re good and frozen, it’s time to fry them up until they’re golden brown and cooked all the way through.

Enjoy these adorable mini churros!
